Meet Dr. Bradley Calobrace, Kentucky Plastic Surgeon

My Philosophy of Care:

When you’re thinking of plastic surgery in Louisville, Kentucky, it is important that you can make informed, confident choices. I value personal communication with my patients because I know that for top-quality results, it is essential to create individualized procedures tailored to your needs and your body. Before I perform any procedure I take the time to understand each patient’s needs and help them understand their options clearly. This way, we can work together to create results that positively impact the patient’s shape and sense of self.

As a surgeon who has dedicated the past 20 years to helping patients reflect their inner sense of confidence and beauty, I have helped meet a broad range of needs and goals. This process has given me a strong sense of respect that motivates me to approach each patient and each procedure at the individual level.

My Credentials:

  • I am board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
  • I earned my MD from Indiana University before completing both my general and plastic surgery residencies in Los Angeles, where I studied under some of the most prominent plastic surgeons in the country.
  • I have extensive experience treating a full range of needs and body types, and have received referrals from other surgeons across the country for complex procedures like breast augmentation revision. I perform close to 400 breast augmentation surgeries each year, but I also offer a full spectrum of other options such as body contouring and facial sculpting procedures, including liposuction and facelift at my Kentucky offices.
  • It’s important to make sure your Kentucky plastic surgeon keeps up with the most recent advances in cosmetic surgery, so many of my patients find it helpful to know that I have served on the plastic surgery faculty of the University of Louisville. I have also helped educate new surgeons about current treatments and technologies such as ultrasound-assisted liposuction and JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel dermal fillers.

My Philosophy of Care:

Plastic surgery can be a life-changing decision, so it’s very important that you choose a surgeon who understands your needs and cares personally about your surgical outcomes. At our Louisville, Kentucky plastic surgery practice, I enjoy getting to know my patients personally and understanding the kinds of needs and goals they bring to each procedure. In plastic surgery it is very important that the surgeon and the patient can establish the kind of clear communication and personal connection that form the foundation for a successful procedure.

As a plastic surgeon I enjoy offering advanced Louisville plastic surgery procedures in the state-of-the-art Calobrace Plastic Surgery facilities. As a doctor I also highly value the process of getting to know each patient and having the chance to share in their success.

My Credentials:

  • I am board-certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
  • I earned my MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where I studied under Dr. Hiram Polk. I went on to train in a full range of advanced techniques in surgery and plastic surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
  • I refined and expanded my skills through intensive training at the largest plastic surgery center in the United States, where I gained exposure to advanced techniques in a wide range of procedures. At the University of Louisville, I am able to apply these skills as a clinical faculty member in the university’s Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
  • It is also important to find a plastic surgeon who has taken the time to advance his skills beyond the “baseline” requirements. I have studied and trained extensively in a broad range of plastic surgery procedures, with a special focus on aesthetic and reconstructive enhancements for the face, head, and neck.
