Dr. Wayne Yamahata is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving Sacramento, Roseville, Folsom, and the
surrounding communities. He is committed to providing exceptional medical care to all patients who put
their trust in his hands. He has founded his practice on the principles of openness and honesty, offering

Dr. Yamahata's Education and Training

Following his formal education, Dr. Yamahata completed 12 years of post-doctoral training at University
of California, Davis. His training included an internship and residency in general surgery, a clinical
nutrition fellowship, and a residency in plastic surgery.

He served multiple terms as chief of plastic surgery for the Sutter Community Hospitals and chief of
plastic surgery for the Sutter/River City Health South Surgery Center. He also served 2 years as president
of the Greater Sacramento Plastic Surgery Society. He holds admitting privileges at Sutter Community
Hospitals and Mercy Hospital of Sacramento, and he is a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UC Davis
Medical School.
