Dr. Arie Benchetrit M.D., FRCS(C) is a board certified plastic surgeon specialising in aesthetic surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons,the Quebec Association of Plastic Surgeons, and is currently the president of the Canadian Laser Aesthetic Surgery Society.

Dr. Arie Benchetrit is a certified plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic surgery of the breast, body and face in the Montreal area. He is passionate about the work that he does and the possibilities that plastic surgery can offer to his patients. “My mission as a plastic surgeon is to help my patients achieve their aesthetic goals safely and predictably by using the newest techniques and an artistic approach”.
The consultation
Dr. Benchetrit schedules his patients for a minimum of 40 minutes for their initial consultation and likes to ask the patient about their esthetic goals. He believes in explaining every option available to the patient and will then make a recommendation based on the patients’ wishes and his own experience. Patients who are reluctant to have surgery can often opt for one of the new non-surgical treatments such as Thermage, UltraShape, Fraxel etc. to get great results with no downtime or anesthesia.

The Procedures
Breast Surgery: Dr. Benchetrit performs breast augmentations with cohesive silicone gel and saline implants, both round and “tear-drop” shapes. He also has performed hundreds of breast lifts with minimal scars and natural shapes. Dr. Benchetrit performs many male breast reductions for gynecomastia, again using minimal scar techniques.
Body Contouring Surgery: These procedures include “tummy-tucks”, liposuction, thigh lifts, arm lifts etc. Dr. Benchetrit adapts the procedure to the patient’s needs and goals, including the scar placement etc. He also performs many labiaplasties, using principally the “wedge” technique for the most natural results.
Non-Surgical Procedures: For patients who are not quite ready for surgery or who just want a fresher, more youthful appearance with minimal side effects, Dr. Benchetrit’s clinic offers all of the latest non-invasive procedures. These include injections like Botox and Restylane for wrinkles and for facial shaping; lasers like the Fraxel for the reduction of wrinkles and age spots; Ultrashape and Velashape for non-surgical fat reduction and skin tightening; Thermage for facial and body firming and for cellulite etc. Dr. Benchetrit also uses the newest products like Sculptra and Selphyl to stimulate your own facial collagen and achieve long-term results.
