Is Breast Augmentation Worth It?
According to The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, 94% of women who have undergone breast augmentation say they are happy with their implants, 92% would recommend getting breast implants and 82% said that their self-confidence improved after surgery.
Since 1997, the average breast size has increased from a 34B to a 36C. The average breast implant size is a C cup. 69% of women chose silicone implants and 31% chose saline implants.
The average woman who gets breast implants is in her mid-30’s, is married or in a long-term relationship, and has some college education.
Women reported they wanted breast implants to look better naked, look better in clothes, to have larger breasts, to feel better about themselves, to feel more confident, and to feel less self-conscious.
