After a mastectomy, Dr Mariotti placed a breast expander, then eventually removed that and replaced it with a silicone gel implant.
Although she chose not to do a nipple reconstruction, she decided to have the tattoo with Dr. Mariotti which made her reconstruction look much more natural.

After a modified radical mastectomy, Dr. Mariotti, reconstructed her breast using a back flap (latissimus flap) and a silicone gel implant.

This is a 34 year old woman who is BRCA 1+. She had a Bilateral Prophylatic Mastectomy with Direct to Implant Reconstruction with AlloDerm to follow. She had 330 grams of breast tissue removed from her right breast and 262 from her left and replaced with a 450cc silicone implant.

This is a 45 year old woman who is BRCA 2+. She had a Bilateral Prophylatic Mastectomy with Direct to Implant Reconstruction with AlloDerm to follow. She had 430 grams of breast tissue removed from her left breast and 521 from her right and replaced with 600cc silicone implants.
