Breast Reconstruction Before and After Pictures

This 45 year old Barrie woman underwent mastectomy for breast cancer of the right breast. Additionally, he had a scar on the left breast from a previous biopsy. Dr. Weinberg operated very shortly after her initial surgery to place a 650cc siltex medium high profile expander beneath the skin of the right chest wall. After several months she underwent a breast reduction on the large, pendulous breast on the left, and during the same procedure the temporary siltex expander was removed and replaced with a 685 cc silicone cohesive gel breast implant, placed submuscularly with an incision through the mastectomy scar. During another procedure the nipple on the right was recreated using a combination of a cartilage graft from the patient’s ear, and cosmetic tatooing.
