Breast augmentation has been the top cosmetic surgical procedure since 2006. Silicone implants were used in 72%, and saline in 28% PLASTIC SURGEONS when citing statistical data of all breast augmentations in 2013.

Tumor removal is overwhelming the top reconstructive procedure performed every year with more than 4.4 million procedures in 2013!

Age

People age 13-19 had the least number of cosmetic procedures last year, only 2% of the total. Some of the most common procedures for teens were: nose reshaping, male breast reduction, ear surgery, laser hair removal, laser treatment of leg veins, and laser skin resurfacing.
