About Dr. Vitenas’ Surgical Facility:
Dr. Vitenas uses the renowned Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, adjacent to our warm and luxurious office suite, for all of his surgical procedures. For those patients who do not require an overnight hospital stay, he utilizes Memorial Hermann Southeast’s outpatient faculty, the Day Surgery Center, also situated next to our Houston office. For all of his surgical procedures, Dr. Vitenas utilizes a board-certified anesthesiologist, keeping patient safety a top priority. Once patients are discharged to rest and heal at home, Dr. Vitenas will continue to carefully monitor their recovery, keep them comfortable with appropriate pain medications, and schedule regular follow-up appointments.

About Dr. Paul Vitenas:
Dr. Paul Vitenas completed both his Plastic Surgery and General Surgery Residency at Tulane Medical Center, after receiving his BS and MD from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his Craniofacial and Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the Clinic Belvedere in Paris, France. Board Certified in Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Vitenas is a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served on the Board of Directors at Memorial Herrmann Hospital System, has spent time as the Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital.

Dr. Vitenas has over 23 years of experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, establishing his Houston area private practice in 1990. Every year, Dr. Vitenas is the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions, most recently being named as one of the Top Docs for Women, Houston’s Top Doctors, America’s Most Compassionate Doctors, and a RealSelf 100 Best Doctor. He has also had the honor of receiving a Patient’s Choice Award and a Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.
