Dr. Gary Price

With 25 years of plastic surgery experience, Dr. Gary Price is a board-certified Connecticut plastic surgeon who has a reputation for patient comfort, convenience and natural-looking results. He performs a full variety of procedures including breast augmentation, eyelid surgery, face lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction and laser facial rejuvenation. Since opening the practice in 1985, Dr. Price and his staff have been devoted to patient safety, privacy and outstanding outcomes.

Dr. Price graduated from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, where he was class president in 1978. He completed his post-graduate residency training at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, serving as a resident in General Surgery and then Plastic Surgery. In addition, he was Chief Resident in General Surgery at Yale from 1982 to 1983 and Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery from 1984 to 1985. In 1984, he was certified by The American Board of Surgery and in 1986, he was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Later he was the president of the Connecticut State Medical Society, as well as the New Haven County Medical Association and the Connecticut Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is the 2009-2010 president of The New England Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, where he is involved in legislation concerning patient safety among other issues.

Dr. Price has also participated in many volunteer trips to perform surgeries for children with facial and hand deformities in developing countries. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Physicians Foundation, a national foundation seeking to improve the quality of healthcare.
