Dr. T. Y. Steven Ip has impressive education and training. Dr. Ip graduated from UCLA, with an Engineering degree along with finishing his pre-medical studies. Dr. Ip received a scholarship to the University of Texas Medical School education at the University of Texas. He then completed five years of training in General Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Ip then spent three yearas at Duke University, specializing in Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Ip is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He is double boarded certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
