About Dr. Vazquez
Dr. Bernabe Vazquez, a board certified plastic surgeon, has been in practice at the same location since 1988. He has performed thousands of plastic surgery procedures and is fully trained in all aspects of cosmetic surgery. He is a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon and a fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons. He is past president of the Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons and past chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Mercy Hospital.

A long time resident of Miami, Dr. Vazquez graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in chemistry and attended medical school at UAG in Mexico. He then completed a 5 year general surgery residency before finishing his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia. This was followed by fellowships in cosmetic surgery in Miami and Rio de Janeiro with world renowned plastic surgeons. In addition to a very complete educational process, the experience of over two decades of performing plastic surgery is what has matured Dr. Vazquez's ability as a surgeon.

About The Practice
The Bayshore Center for Cosmetic Surgery was founded by Dr. Bernabe Vazquez in 1988. The office is an independently owned and operated plastic surgery practice. Located conveniently in the professional building of Mercy Hospital on beautiful Biscayne Bay, the office includes a fully accredited operating room and recovery facility. It's immediate proximity to a major hospital ensures that all patients' medical needs will be met.
